These terms govern your use of RemoveGifBG ("we", "us", "the service"). By uploading a file or creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
RemoveGifBG removes backgrounds from animated GIFs, MP4/video files, and images that you upload, and returns a processed result for download. Processing is automated — files are analyzed and handled by software, without a human reviewing the contents, except where you explicitly opt into a feature that says otherwise (such as the optional frame-correction tool).
You keep all rights to the files you upload and to the results we generate from them. We don't claim any ownership over your content. You're responsible for having the right to upload whatever you upload, and for how you use the output.
You agree not to upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have permission to process. We reserve the right to refuse or stop processing a file, or to suspend an account, if we reasonably believe this is being violated.
Uploaded files and processed results are automatically deleted 1 hour after upload, as described in our Privacy Policy. Don't rely on the service as storage — download your result before it expires.
Some usage beyond the free tier requires spending account credits, which are earned (email/card verification bonuses) or purchased (credit packs or a subscription plan). Credits have no cash value, aren't transferable to another account, and are only redeemable for processing on this service. Subscription plans renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time from your account dashboard, which stops future renewals. Please don't: attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent rate limits or free-tier gating on the service; scrape or automate access outside of the documented API; upload malicious files intended to exploit the processing pipeline; or use the service to process content that violates applicable law. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that do this.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times — processing depends on third-party cloud infrastructure that is outside our direct control. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RemoveGifBG is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data (for example, a file that expired before you downloaded it) or loss of business. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
